Thank you for visiting our new informational website, We hope you will find this new resource helpful in navigating the unemployment claims system and getting your questions answered.

These past several months have been extraordinarily stressful for the more than 243,000 Oregonians who have lost their jobs, largely due to the pandemic. While we’ve been able to get unemployment checks into the hands of a historic number of Oregonians, we know that many families are still waiting for relief.

Many of you have never applied for unemployment before and the process can be confusing under normal circumstances. With the new programs resulting from the CARES Act, sharing relevant, helpful and timely information is more critical than ever.

We know what is most important to you is that you receive the unemployment benefits you deserve. While we know there are many delays, we are committed to providing excellent customer service. In addition to hiring more staff and improving processes, this website is the first of many steps we are taking to improve the overall customer service experience.

We know that many Oregonians are particularly frustrated with the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program. We have shifted significant resources toward processing those claims. You can track our progress here to keep us accountable.

Over the coming weeks, we will continue adding resources, news and tools on this website and encourage you to check back often. While you are waiting for your benefits, we encourage you to contact 211 Info for additional resources and programs available to you.
