Continued Assistance Act (CAA)
The Continued Assistance Act (CAA) is a federal benefits package that extends some provisions of the CARES Act from Dec. 27, 2020 until March 13, 2021.
CAA extends the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) and Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefit programs and creates a new benefit program - Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation. It also provides an extra $300 weekly FPUC benefit for claimants receiving any unemployment benefits through March 13, 2021.
